Artist’s Note
I love making paintings like this because they let me go all in on the things I’m always drawn to, flowers, pattern, slightly wonky vase shapes, and colours that really should not work together but somehow absolutely do. This one feels a bit like permission to stop toning yourself down and just enjoy what you enjoy.
