Not everything has to carry the weight of the world.
Life Is Sweet started as pure play. An oversized sugar bowl, bursting with flowers that refuse to behave. Pattern on pattern. Colour on colour. A giant metaphorical spoonful of sugar.
There’s no heavy backstory here. No grand statement. Just joy, pleasure, and the simple delight of making something because you can.
It’s nostalgic without being stuck in the past, confident without shouting and bold without trying too hard.
It’s your reminder that your allowed to have fun and play.
Styling ideas: Perfect for a kitchen, dining space, creative studio, or anywhere that could use a daily reminder not to take life quite so seriously.
-
It brings a hit of colour and warmth into your space without feeling chaotic.
It gives you permission to choose joy over depth when you need it.
It feels playful but grounded, so it grows with you rather than dating quickly.
It becomes a conversation piece that reflects your personality.
It is a one-of-one original that no one else will ever own.

Artist’s Note
I made this one on a day where I decided I didn’t want to overthink anything. I just wanted colour. And pattern. And a bit of sweetness. It still makes me smile every time I see it, which feels like a good sign.
