  • Not Here To Play Small is all about taking up space with colour, confidence, and a bit of joyful drama. The bright vessel and bursting flowers make it feel lively, expressive, and impossible to ignore.

    Story & inspiration
I keep coming back to this sugar-bowl-inspired shape because I love the contrast of its clean structure against these looser, more organic flowers. This version leans into deeper, earthier colour against the big hit of turquoise, so it feels playful and full of life, but still grown up.

    Where it lives best
Perfect for a sitting room, sunroom, hallway, or anywhere you want a hit of colour that feels bold and uplifting. It would look especially lovely in a space with natural light or a view to the garden.

    • It brings a room to life with bold colour and movement that feels joyful, confident, and full of personality.

    • The bright vessel and bursting floral shapes give it a playful energy, balanced by earthy tones and a more grown-up feel.

    • It’s the kind of piece that helps a space feel warmer, braver, and much more like the person living there.

    • The layered collage, inky marks, and hand-painted details give you plenty to keep noticing over time.

    • As a one-of-a-kind original, it gives your home something distinctive that no one else will have.

Artist’s Note

This one was a fun balancing act because I wanted it to feel playful and full of life, but not too sweet or too young. I ended up pulling in those darker earthy tones against the bright turquoise, and that’s when it clicked. Now it feels like someone who walks into the room laughing, telling three stories at once, and somehow still looks incredibly stylish.
